When you obtain your real estate license from the ASREB, you are getting more than the legal validation required to practice real estate in the state of Arizona. You have now earned the ability to change people’s lives by providing your client with the professional guidance they need to maximize the benefit of their transaction.
Often times when I am meeting with agents I find that they share the same goal. They want to help others realize their life goals through real estate. Without the Three Pillars of Excellence, that goal of helping others is never realized.
The training/mentoring/coaching program that we’ve created at Tru Realty engages agents in the Three Pillars of Excellence. We start by explaining the importance of these concepts so that agents can understand the reason for these important and fundamental principles to success.
The Three Pillars of Excellence are:
1. Mindset – a can-do attitude despite the task, despite the obstacles
This helps to build agent confidence and engages them to be committed to working towards success every day. We use real-life examples to forge an understanding of just how a positive mindset can help you to achieve excellence in real estate.
2. Operations – the deep understanding of the real estate process
This sets you apart from others as you enhance the client experience with your superior knowledge of the many steps needed to take a person through the purchase or sale of a home. Understanding the real estate process allows you to set, manage and exceed client expectations.
3. Marketability – building your client portfolio
This is of the more critical components of real estate excellence. The leaders in our industry have forged reputations that help to feed client retention and referral. I teach agents how to become a resource to their client so that they can develop their own rapport with their client base and others who may seek their services.
I also employ a rigorous ‘open door’ policy to make certain that all of our Tru Realty agents know that they have the access they need for further refinement or encouragement to follow our Pillar’s of Excellence philosophy. At Tru Realty, it is important to us that we always continue to learn, improve and grow as real estate professionals.
